What is the ESOL A1 Test ?
Any applicant who wishes to apply for a “spouse” visa is required to show a knowledge of English at the ESOL Entry Level 1 / A1 CEFR level.
To meet the language knowledge requirement, applicants are required to obtain an (ESOL) at or above Entry Level 1/A1 CEFR, which consists of a “Speaking and Listening” module only and an approved English language The exam is passed through.
English test UK works with approved secure English language testing centers that offer this test.
Please note that the “Spouses Visa” does not require you to pass the “Life in the UK” test. You must pass the ESOL Entry Level 1 / A1 test in the Speaking and Listening module only.

English Test UK offers Entry Level 1 / A1 CEFR Tests at various locations within the UK. We are going beside Home Office-approved examination bodies to provide exams to applicants who are applying for the Spouse Visa. Then you can fill the form to book your seat.
How to prepare for the ESOL A1 Test ?
Once you have booked your exam with us we will provide you with the suitable study material that will guide you on the format of the exam. We also offer classroom-based training sessions with our selected ESOL training providers. The fee for the training is different and varies from center to center.
